Not bad Class 3 Handicap Hurdle over 2m4f for this track.

I think this is between the top horse, Dan Skelton’s Not Now Seamus (rated 128) and the Emma Lavelle trained Talent To Amusewhere I’m in favour of the latter.

Talent to Amuse has been in both mine and Pete's Tracker for sometime and we have been waiting for her to come out under the right conditions and of course, the right price.

Talent To Amuse last won at Newton Abbot in a Class 3 Novice Hurdle back in May last year and beat the Paul Nichols trained Amour De Nuit (rated 137) by 1 and half lengths, with Jamie Snowden’s Adrrastos (rated 125) 8 lengths further back plus, the Tom George trained Champagne City (rated 134) another 2 lengths back, the substance of that race is there for all to see.

She was then thought good enough to take his chance in very decent class 2 Handicap at Chepstow in October where unfortunately she fell at the first hurdle.

Put away for the season after that mishap she returned 2 weeks ago for a spin round Chepstow over 2 miles on the flat, that should have blown the cobwebs off ready for today.

With the Dan Skelton horse been raised another 9lb for winning an average class 4 handicap at Uttoxeter and currently is 2/1fav. Therefore I’m willing to take him on with Talent To Amuse who is currently trading at 11/4 but don’t take odds below 5/2.

1 point win advised.

Good luck to us all
