On the face of it, Cotton Club for the in form Dr Richard Newland yard does look a good thing here but I am not so sure, also 5/4 is the wrong price in my opinion.

I am not convinced the step up to almost 2m6f will suit either, so basically your asking a horse thats been beaten twice to step up to an unknown trip on a tight track and win at odds of 5/4?. No Thank you

The Colin Tizzard trained Hoover Fever ran very well last time out behind the in form Ballydun Oscar, only finishing 3 lengths adrift threating to give him a race over this course and distance on only his second run over hurdles.

I am not saying Cotton Club wont win, what I am saying is that at 5/4 he is bad value and over rates his true chance in the race against my selection.

The exact opposite applies to Hoover Fever who at 5/1, should, run a race equivelant to a lot shorter odds.

Therefore taking the odds into account and the relative form merits of which I think think the suitability of the trip to both horses will be the difference, I am prepared to have a 1pt win on Hoover Feaver at BP 5/1 at time of writing
