Feeling the love has all the right signs going for him here, Jessie Harrington Trained, JP McManus owned, Mark Walsh riding and a shade of odds on fav for the race.

Well I am just not feeling the love I am afraid, the manner of his victory at Killarny was workmanlike rather than that of a horse on the up and his jumping at pace wasnt all that fluent either, the horses behind only ran to their existing ratings in my opinion. His running style would not take your eye as a horse to follow next time out.

However Ejayteekay is a horse that takes the eye in running.

Won two of his last three outings, and only failed to show in his penultimate run due to being badly hampered and having no chance with the front rank and was eased off.

His two wins at Cork and Down Royal were both over this trip and ground. His Jumping was slick and he finished off his races with minimum fuss, not even off the bridle at Cork when pulling away from the field to jump the last in a slick manner and put the race to bed with ease.

At odds of 5/2 BP at time of writing as opposed to 10/11 for Feeling the love, there can only be one bet. I would have them the other way round in truth and I have no problem putting up a 1pt win on Ejayteekay
